Two Members of Key Glock’s Entourage Arrested with Loaded Firearms at Governors Ball
New York City, NY – Two individuals affiliated with rapper Key Glock were arrested over the weekend for possession of loaded firearms as they attempted to enter the Governors Ball music festival in Flushing Meadows Corona Park.
The Arrest Incident
Authorities reported that Joshua Crutcher, 31, and Dion Michaels, 22, were stopped by security personnel approaching the VIP area of the festival just before 5 p.m. on Sunday. Both men were reportedly part of Key Glock’s entourage, who was set to perform at the event.
Court documents reveal that Crutcher was discovered with a .40 caliber Glock 23 firearm concealed in his waistband, loaded with 18 rounds, including one in the chamber. Meanwhile, Michaels, driving a silver Ford, admitted to a security guard that there was a firearm in the center console of his vehicle.
Additional Findings
In addition to Michaels’ 9mm Glock 43x, which was nearly fully loaded with nine rounds (one also in the chamber), authorities recovered a magazine containing 20 rounds of 9mm ammunition, as well as a switchblade knife from the vehicle. Both men now face several weapon possession charges, including felonies.
Legal Proceedings
During a recent arraignment, Crutcher was ordered to be held on bail set at $10,000 cash or $30,000 bond, with a court appearance scheduled for June 18. Conversely, Michaels was released on his own recognizance and is expected back in court on August 13.
It remains unclear whether Key Glock, whose real name is Markeyvius LaShun Cathey and is a cousin of the late rapper Young Dolph, was in proximity to the two men at the time of the arrest.
