    Authorities report that a heated argument erupted between two men, a 56-year-old victim and a 64-year-old suspect. During the confrontation, the older man allegedly used a sharp object to stab the victim multiple times. In a chaotic turn of events, the suspect also received a stab wound, although details about how he was injured remain unclear.

    The victim was rushed to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was treated for multiple stab wounds to the upper body but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. As of this report, law enforcement officials have not disclosed his identity pending family notification.

    The suspect was also transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital in serious condition due to a stab wound to the chest. He is currently in police custody while receiving treatment.
