    Police Activity in Northampton Township: Weekly Incident Report

    NORTHAMPTON TOWNSHIP, PA — The Northampton Township Police Department has released its weekly incident report, detailing a range of activities from May 19 to May 25, including traffic accidents, road hazards, and public safety responses.

    Traffic Incident on 2nd Street Pike

    On May 19, officers responded to a traffic accident in the 900 block of 2nd Street Pike. According to police reports, two vehicles were involved in a collision when the second vehicle, which was traveling northbound and preparing to make a right turn into a parking lot, was struck by the first vehicle, also heading in the same direction. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the vehicles were able to remain on the scene without requiring a tow.

    Paint Spill Creates Road Hazard

    On May 25, patrol officers dealt with a road hazard reported at the intersection of Tanyard Road and 2nd Street Pike. A local resident alerted authorities to a significant spill of paint on the roadway, likely posed a risk to drivers. Upon arrival, police confirmed the spillage and worked in conjunction with the local fire department to clean the area thoroughly. Officers emphasized the importance of reporting such hazards to ensure public safety.
